The Process

A common question is how do we start the design process?    You start with the whole reason you are here reading this.  Yes, the wedding.  The mandap design is the most important decision in the design selection process.  There are so many options to choose from such as hanging garlands (Artificial vs. Real), Colors (Red, White, Yellow, Pink…), shape of garlands (Straight down or Swagged), Roof Treatment (Heavy, Light), Color of Florals, Color of Backdrop, Aisle Decor,  Flooring (Fabric vs. Glossy), Welcome Area Decor (Small Ganesh, Medium Ganesh, Big Ganesh, No Ganesh). You get my point.

Next, you will need to work on the reception stage decorations, then centerpieces, linens, and lighting. These two events will be a big part of your budget with the reception even more. The ancillary events are mehendi, sangeet, garba, and vidhis. Your focus should be prioritized based on the number of guests. These days even with Covid, food carts, photo-ops, backdrops are still going strong!

Now that you have got the order down, how can I put together my vision?  Most brides have some sort of inspiration or pictures  to help us build a “baseline” plan.  From there we put our creatives to work to create a customized solution.  We give you some visuals in return to help see the overall plan.

As you can see, this process isn’t cut and dry, it’s a dynamic process which requires collaboration from all parties.
